The ATV training course is a training programme of a length of 5 ½ – 7 hours, given by CCS certified instructors. The ATV programme, established on terrain tested techiques, allow those that follow it to learn the appropriate functioning of the All-terrain vehicles in a nice but methodical atmosphere. The driver learns the control, how to analyse terrain, how to turn and to climb a hill.
Another ATV driving course is also available to children under 14 years old, that received, from their parents, the permission to drive an ATV.
The parents or the guardian must submit a consent form and assist the full course. No children will drive if the CSS/VTT did not get the written consent of the present parents/guardian at the course. The CSS/VTT will be happy to hand-in an instructive booklet specially made for the parents that allow their children to drive that type of vehicle.
Knowing the ATV by heart and the place where it can be driven is the best protection that exists to insure a nice and pleasant ride. Do not forget that ATV are intended to use out of roads and cannot be driven on paved/cobbled surface or any other public road.
Make sure you know your vehicle before driving it. READ THE OWNER'S GUIDE FURNISHED WITH YOUR ALL TERRAIN VEHICLE and practice the suggested techniques in an open place, out of the road and far from obstacles and from other drivers. Ask for help from an experienced driver. The All terrain vehicle driving requires special abilities and knowledge that must be learned during some time. |
