WARRANTY POLICY

General
All NORDIK MOTOR vehicles have to be registered online in order to be covered by our warranty.

The vehicle registration needs to be performed online by the authorized NORDIK MOTOR dealer and the warranty certificate needs to be provided to buyer. A copy of the warranty certificate should also be kept in file by the dealer and filed with the sales contract.

All our models are covered by a limited warranty on defect parts and the warranty does not cover labor charges.
 
The NK 500D and NK 500L models an extended warranty is available  for three (3) years under certain circumstances.

The following items are covered for the warranty period described below from the purchasing date:

Engine/ Transmission / Carburator :
-Six (6) months
Electrical componments / Wiring :      
-Six (6) months
Frame / Shocks / Swing arms / Exhaust : 
-Six (6) months

 

This warranty does not cover consumable and normal wear parts including, but not limited to, body panel, seat upholstery , bumper, air filters, brake pads, tires, bulbs, cables, bearings, fasteners, chains, or damage due to lack of scheduled maintenance, accident, act of God, misuse or consumer abuse. Modifications to this vehicle that are not NORDIK MOTOR approved parts will void the warranty.


It may be required that defect parts be returned at dealer cost or numerical pictures may be asked in order to support warranty information.   Once the warranty claim is approved, the replacement part (s) will be delivered to our authorized dealer within seven (7) business days through a selected carrier.   Even if we have a significant quantity of parts in our warranty warehouse, it may happen that we run out of stock on specific items that we will ordered.  The delivery time may be extended but we are not expecting any delay above fifteen (15) business days.
Otherwise, the warranty is only applicable on vehicles that are sold through authorized NORDIK MOTOR dealers.   All vehicles sold online and not through our dealer network will not be covered under warranty.
The following documents need to be submitted with each warranty claim:

  1. Copy of the warranty certificate obtained through the vehicle registration process,
  2. Vehicle certificate of origin or NEVIS,
  3. Sales agreement,
  4. Numerical picture of the defect part (s) (if required).
